Correct. The machine that has all the original files is sitting in a crate in Illinois right now. Friday's award movies are there though.

Hey, speaking on behalf of SOAP, that first few matches are sorta low quality. Windows Media Encoder, from what the soap guys explained to me, crashed and went nutso for a while. Soo, that's the best we've got right now of those first few matches. Everything from 18 should be of pretty good quality. Sorry you JUST missed the encoder fix!

For any further updates on this, username Soap108 will probobly post. That's Kenny Ardizzone. He runs soap, so any direct questions send over to him. He may have solutions.

Yes. The higher quality is largely due to using a new 640x480 capture device. Last year we only used 320x240. Also the codecs are better. I noticed too many skipped frames, but others tell me they can't notice the problem. Weird.

Yeah, we are missing some low number matches unfortunatly. We basically had to drop-kick the computer a few times ... ;) It will be a while before we are able to go back and re-encode. If we get setup Thursday in adequate time, maybe we can try. No promises though. :|
