I know we have a thread for "what’s in your cd player" but its not for particular songs. Every one has a song that they fell defines who they are.
So my question is:
What is your song? And why?
Mine is Philosophy by Ben Folds because I get laughed at for some of my actions and "I'm crazy but I get the job done."

I think this (http://www.pubarso.com/archives/the-sound-of-music-from-another-room.php) could answer it ..

typical me is "Bouncing Off The Walls" by Sugarcult
If you can't guess why, apparently I'm always hyper, hence: "I'm bouncing off the walls again, and I'm looking like a fool again" although I'm not sure about that "looking like a fool part" :D

Rx Bandits - Analog Boy
I'll have have to make one of those scene by scene things for my deadjournal. I'll get back to you when I do.

On an idealistic level, it would have to be "Imagine" by John Lennon. I love that song, and it pretty well describes my idea of a better world. It's not very realistic, though.
On a more realistic level, "You May Be Right" by Billy Joel might be closer to being "my" song.
'freinds in low places' by garth brooks (self evident)
and 'going the distance' by cake, and i'd like to second 'bittersweet symphony'
finally, 'rodeo' by garth brooks describes my feelings toward FIRST...

If I had to pick for myself, I would pick something like The Mystic's Dream by Loreena McKennitt.
Don't ask my friends what they would pick...

I'd probably say "Between her blue eyes and jeans" by Conway Twitty

Hmm..."Basket Case" by Green Day is tempting. :)
My real choice would probably be "What a Good Boy" by the Barenaked Ladies. I've reached the point where I'm expected to excel in everything and I'm in trouble if I don't.
I've actually been wanting to put together a CD of songs that fit my life...once I get the track list, I'll post it here. I know that no one cares, but it might be interesting to read...

Either "Wonderwall" by Oasis or "Join Me" by Him. There are also a million other songs as well that describe me well, if not better, but music is part of my soul and if I had to live without it, I would die. Not at first, but music is essential to living. Really living I mean. It's always there and it can't ditch you or anything...it helps you live one more day when you are feeling shizzy. Music rocks. Headbangers unite!!!

I have several country songs that would define me. However, one of the greatest right now is "Good Little Girls - by Blue Country" (http://www.scottreeves.com/index.php)
