Who or what is John V-Neun?

I'm new to FIRST. (It's my first year here) Following the suggestions of my teammates, I've been reading the Delphi forums. I've been coming across lots of signatures saying "I am JVN" or something similar. Now, apparently JVN is some kind of legendary figure in FIRST or something like that. Why exactly is this guy so great? What has he done? If it isn't something extraordinary, i at least want to see some "I am Chris Teresi" signatures up on this site. ;)

John's just a regular college guy (as far as geeky white boy engineers who do FIRST go ....) who just happens to love FIRST a little too much. Check out the white papers for his gearbox sheet of magic then head over to his UFH page to read up on the life of little Johnny V-Neun. People just want to be his kind of cool... none of us really know why...

Maybe if you're lucky you'll even spot him when you go to the local zoo, aka the 229 pit at nationals ;)
