I am assuming that that doesn't take into account posts which were deleted. The above has post ID 250,000

it would be interesting to see how the number of posts has grown since the forum's inception (not sure if that's the right word)...i wonder if it is exponential like the growth of FIRST or more linear...probably more exponential.
on that note...it would also be neat to see how the number of posts fluctuates by month.

We have quite a few private forums for other FIRST-based organizations (UFH, and such) as well as team 47 private forums, test forums for myself, and as mentioned above, when a thread is deleted the number is not re-used.

I made a post once with a list of how many threads/posts we had per season. I can't seem to find it, but I did find when we hit 100,000 and that was 1-28-2003. ( link (http://www.chiefdelphi.com/forums/showthread.php?t=17094))

250,000 posts...
wow
after looking at some of the old stats brandon posted, it is amazing to see how much this place really has grown. This is probably right in line with the curve of the growth of FIRST. In 1998, we were accepted to FIRST as team #195, meaning only a little more than 195 teams joined from the start of FIRST to 1998. In the following 6 years, another 1200 teams have joined. Thats just insane. But its great to see that many more people are getting involved. And as for the CD Boards, we can only hope they keep growing until some day the words "Chief Delphi" are known to everyone in America... scratch that.. the world. :)

Those were for that year, they havent been updated.
At the web hug, we'll have some stats to share, including the past few years so everybody can see how the site has grown.

Well... that would be correct if all the numbers were continuous, but they arent. There are many gaps between 0-1000 or so (I think it's 1000, I dont remember exactly where they started using every number)
There's really 900 something odd teams total.
