Looks like the handwriting of one of my professors at URI. His comments are usually just random lines with arrows pointing to my work. But since "Special K" is not an option, on a hunch I will go with JVN :D .

Just to be more differant than Meli, I'm going to say Woodie... I've had a few things signed by him, and his signature looks nothing like what it is ;)

I could put some money down saying that she will never wash that arm again... but i wouldn't want to take all your money!Amanda Morrison's right hand.... I don't think that I saw that hand being washed once but I do know it got some action. This room (http://www.chiefdelphi.com/forums/showthread.php?t=27848) of people, excluding Morrison, only know what actually went on with her fist and Tom's face. It's really crazy what can happen with people are really really tired. :ahh: :yikes:

I think it was Dean Kamen, I don't remember.

(Note: I posted this after just reading page one, for fear of it being spoiled for me.)

Well, since I've got me a five-point ball with an official Dean autograph (unless his evil twin was dressed the same way and riding a Segway around Einstein on Saturday in Atlanta....), let me look and see what I can find.

(runs upstairs to bedroom, finds the ball, scurries back down)

Holding Dean's signature up beside the screen, it's not even close. And I don't believe Woodie's would look like that, due to the fact that I'd suppose there should be a W in there somewhere. JVN.

I can so NOT believe that Amanda would EVER let JVN sign her arm! ;)

For the record, I say it's Dean Kamen.

JVN because if you look at the lettering it just seems to elongated at certain parts to be a Dean, definately looks like John and then at the bottom it looks like a V in the beginning more then a K or an F

JVN

It doesn't look close to the woodie or dean sigs I've got on my pennant.

Amanda Morrison? Is that the team's name or the robot's name? What's so special about the arm, anyway? Doesn't look like it'd be much good for 2x balls or hanging...

Or it could be a sloppy D...

I don't think Dean, Woodie, or JVN sign many autographs on people's arms, it's definately harder to sign an arm versus a poster, a shirt, or something to that extent....

I can't believe nobody has told the answer....that happened nearly 4 months ago!

Only myself, Amanda, DK, a few select others and the person that autographed the arm knows the true answer! :p

Frank Zappa ???
Zappa Rules!!!
But I'm going with JVN.
I definately see the John at the start and Amanda would much rather have his autograph than the others :)

This post started back in april (a long time ago), and the sad thing is, is that she still has never washed that arm! She told me that she has to wear a newspaper bag over it everytime she showers, but she says that it is still worth it!

You know what's funny? I step away from the computer for 20 minutes and it seems every thread (http://www.chiefdelphi.com/forums/showthread.php?t=24719&page=1&pp=15) dealing with Amanda has been revived in the last 20 minutes!

That's it! From now on August 30th will be national Amanda Morrison Day! :p

Maybe we should have Brandon add it to the calendar... a CD-wide holiday. :)

Maybe we should have Brandon add it to the calendar... a CD-wide holiday. :) You do realize the responsibilites that come with having your very own day, don't you?

You'll have to go around kissing babies and christening all the foods and robots people will name after you.

Not to mention, it automatically gives people permission to phoshop the pants off of any pictures of you they can find (hopefully not literally but, hey, you never know!! )

People will be parading up and down the streets chanting, "I am Amanda Morrison" and wearing thongs, complete with your face an initials, of course, on the outside of their clothing!

And you thought the birthday surprise at Buco diBeppo's was embarassing? That's nothing compared to what these crazy CDer's will do on ...

AMANDA MORRISON DAY

So when next August 30th rolls around, don't say I didn't warn you!!

:yikes:

Well, to me, the first letter of the last name looks like an "L" and the last letter of the last name looks like a "Y."
And Dave's already posted twice with some completely different suggestion. Like he's trying to get attention or something.
So I'd say it's Dave Lavery's signature on Amanda Morrison's arm.

Edit: What is that? A bowl of salsa? :p

Signing of the Arm isnt new :)
Woodies and Deans are both on Mark's arm in the photo, Deans being in the center, and closest to whats on her arm... the K is a bit fuzzy in this picture, but you can tell its the same.

If you look closely here you can kind of see what the first part of the signature looks like

I'm going with Woodie.

This picture was posted on ChiefDelphi over three years ago... and I've still got you folks talking about my arm! I will admit I did forget to celebrate Amanda Morrison Day this year.

Let's clarify and tell a story - three years ago, JVN signed my arm (actually, pulled a sharpie from nowhere, reached across the table and grabbed my hand, and signed my arm) after me berating him for hours about his celebrity here on ChiefDelphi and mockingly begging for an autograph.

Three months later he asked me out. Now, three years later, we are engaged.

Thanks for a good memory. I guess this means the contest is over now. :)

Signing a girls arm out of the blue.
Interesting variation on a theme (the tradition pick up line).
Interesting way to make an impression upon her (so long as she doesn't proceed to make an impression upside your head immediately after).

Are you listening Joe Matt? This is nature's way of telling it's your turn. You are famous(on CD). Get some FIRST girl to tease you about it and then randomly sign her arm. Three years from now you could be engaged:ahh::ahh::ahh:

LOL... Joe's got 2 first names and his own pose, does he really need to sign a FIRST female's arm to get her to go out with him? Besides, it's JVN's move... stealing another guy's move is baaad. Haven't you seen that Seinfeld episode? Shame on you. :p

I think somebody will mock the Joe Matt Pose and bada-bing bada-boom he'll be hitched in three years

On another note his name will be called twice as much seeing as he has two first names sooooooo he has twice the chance a normal person would have.

Btw. What kind of Candy?

Joe's at Disney. I'm going to see him today, I am so defiantly brining him a sharpie on your behalf (just, not to sign my arm).
