*points to title*....Evanescence? I've got their CD, and they are really good in my opinion. Who else thinks so, and why?

[Some] of my reasons: Amy Lee's voice works really well with the instruments. Also, the lyrics themselves are really good.

I read somewhere that Evanecense is just the one singer and a guitarist....the rest of the band and their live performers are just ringers that are donated from other bands...I know for a fact in their first song, the backup vocals and the rest of what was provided was complements of the band 12 Stones.

Personally I think the vocalist has a pretty good voice, but I find the music to be more annoying then anything.

Yes, 12 Stones' vocalist Paul McCoy gave his vocals to the song because he felt that "Bring Me To Life" was a really good song. 12 and Evanescence were recording at the same time, and Paul listened, and...yea, we know the rest now :D

I do have to agree, the music can be annoying in my opinion, but then again, it also is pretty good. If you listen to songs like "Imaginary", "Whisper", "My Last Breath", and some others, the music isn't really all that big in my opinion.

They're okay, good for a change of pace occaisionally. Personally I like heavier stuff.

i like them, i listen to a wide of variety of things, opera to punk to industrial to classical....it goes all over, but yeah, i have a friend who was a rabid fan boy of theirs before their release of the cd....
