Alright guys, lets start off the setup for the first Fantasy FIRST division for the Canadian Wonderland Off-Season event. So far, we have three interested members, if anyone else wants to join, just post in here, there are only seven spots available.

I am now creating another list of all the teams in attendance and ranking them with all of their stats, it should be done within a couple of hours. We can begin drafting any time, I will go ahead and create a random draft order so we can get started. If you will not be here anytime in the next two days, please PM your list, especially if you will be gone due to Memorial Day. And if everyone sends me a list, we could have the draft done in a matter of minutes.

If any of these teams are picked and do not show, we will have to come up with something to compensate for the problems. Perhaps, duplication of one of the alliances teams or something like that.

To clarify....

The information about 65 came from a high-ranking event official, so I've removed them from my list. 1006 not attending is only an unconfirmed rumor, however. They are still on my list unless I hear anything concrete from an event organizer.

Perhaps someone affiliated with those teams could post here and let us know your Canada's Wonderland status?

I was told by a teacher at 1049 that they would not be attending. They have not forwarded that on to Mark B though. They also have not yet paid. Rumour has it that some of the students are trying to get to the event.

One of the lead members of team 1049 (St. Michael's Archangel Robotics) requested that their Skills Competition registration be withdrawn. He cited class exam conflicts with the Canada's Wonderland date :(.

This is very interesting information. This means that we are short two teams. What do you guys think we should do, allow the last two in the draft to pick again, although this would seem a bit unfair. Maybe if they had to pick out of say, the teams with the five closest stats to the last picked teams?

My suggestions:

To make it easier, I'd just go with two teams per contestant.

The person who picked 107 could choose from any of the teams left at that point in time in the draft. This will most likely mean one team will be chosen twice, but it shouldn't affect the final outcome of the contest.

I picked 107 and I happen to be up now, so I assume that I should pick one team in replacement for 107 then pick another team as my current choice. My replacement pick will be team 1006 - they are in there twice now but that was nobody's fault really...And my current pick will be team 1088.

I picked 1088 for my third pick, so T. Hoffman's team should be 1049, which was never picked and, I believe, is still going to the event. If they are not, then another team will have to be double picked (perhaps it should be 1281 because they were the last pick and would be the only team that T. Hoffman would have been able to choose anyway). I will put 1049 on the list for now.
Please make any trades publicly known so that I can update the list.
