i have decided to start a fantasy first for Battlecry at WPI which takes place on June 18-19. Hopefully this time we will be able to get the results so we can name a winner.

just FYI for all the people involved in FF... since i deiced to be fair lol... if any of you where at BTB, and watched the quaterfinal 2-1, you would have seen us flip, and seen our hook bend about 35-40 degrees... so as of right now we have no hook, but are in the process of coming up with something... we are hoping that we get something on to test it at meramik (if its still on) and hopefully have it worked out by WPI ..

I would be happy to run it. How it will work:

If someone runs out of time, I will use the JVN list like at natoinals. I know that not all teams going to WPI appear on this list, but unless somebody thinks of something else then I suppose this is all we have.

The draft will start at 3:00 and go for quitte a few hours - can't really say when it will end tonight. 15 minutes per pick.

If you have PM'd ur list to Levin please also send me a copy - if you are not here and your turn ends then you can switch our pick provided that the team you want has not been chosen either before or after your turn. I will assume that anyone who has their team number in their user name would want that team as their first pick.

Trades should be approved by me, Levin, or another volunteer...

Official timing does not start until 3:00 but Dez250 (who is first) can start earlier if he likes.

He'll probably be back within the next week or two, then he will see the trde and there will be enough time to go through with it. In the meantime...I am looking for teams 190, 571, and 126. Wliing to trade 549 and/or 839. PM me!

What I did last time was that if a team did not show up i counted them as if they won half and lost half the rounds, but if anyone has any other suggestions feel free to shout them out

Alrighty then! Now that Battlecry is over, and good times were had, here are the rankings (http://www.wpi.edu/News/Events/BattleCry/standings.html) and here are the match results (http://www.wpi.edu/News/Events/BattleCry/matchresults.html). How are the Fantasy FIRST scores going to be calculated? And did I actually end up with 811 in places of 125?

Alright. The numbers are done.

Based on the original post (http://www.chiefdelphi.com/forums/showpost.php?p=246088&postcount=1) in terms of scoring:
Whatever points your team gets in a match is what you score. No matter who their partner is or if they are in the final tourney. Score is determined first by W-L record then average point score (I’m not into that loser score average stuff). I’m talking horsepower here. If your robot is an offensive stud then you should be rewarded!
Winner gets braggin' rights. So who's in?

And what I did with no-show teams as well as tied ranking teams (http://www.chiefdelphi.com/forums/showpost.php?p=254372&postcount=14) at the Championship:
Teams with the exact same winning percentae as well as same average score (there were quite a few) were tied for that ranking, and recieved the same rank. Also, our no-shows (21, 995, 348) were all given the last place ranking.

If you want it done differently, then once we decide on the way to do it I'd be happy to rectify the data/let someone else do it. Congratulations to the winners!
