Yes! My mom only makes it on average to one competition a year....but she's making a special one night (and 1.5 day) only appearance!

OK, that's not a New England thing, it's a Boston thing..

:sigh:

Or maybe it's just a central New England thing.. I don't know. All I know is that I live in Southern New England, and I have never used that tone in the way I talk.. I think Southern New England is the only part of this country that doesn't have an accent...

Word to the wise....

In CT, you consider the state part of the "Tri-State Area" (CT, NY & NJ) and "Southern New England"..

...but everywhere else in New England, CT was expelled from using the "New England" term to describe itself loooooong ago. ;)

Hey.. At least it's not a 12 hour drive that Brandon wanted me to do to go to Canada's Winter wonderland event.
(And for anyone that debates that a trip from CT to Canada is not 12 hours, the trip would have included a stop in Massachusetts)
