Just to let other teams know:
The hotels at IRI will be packed. We did some calling around yesterday and today after we got head count of kids attending and most hotels in the close area had no double rooms available.

We were told that there is also something happening at the Indiana State Fair Grounds???

We got the last 3 Non-Smoking double rooms at the Hampton :-)

Thaught I would give the heads up

Are you sure? The only thing scheduled during IRI is the Indiana State Fair Beer Brewing Comptetion, and thats in a pretty small building...i wouldnt think that would take up that many hotel rooms

Only thing I know of happening that weekend at the State Fair is the Indiana State Fair Brewer's Competition (http://www.in.gov/serv/eventcal?PF=statefair&Clist=97&Elist=81135). Every year some IndianaFIRST teams get the opportunity to share a booth with the Indiana 2016 initiative and program headed by the former First Lady of the late Governor O'Bannon.

What were you told that was going on at the State Fair and where did you hear it from? We dont know of anything going on with that...

We were told this by one of the hotel receptionists. Unsure on which hotel. They were probably totally wrong and only the people before us calling were interested in the State Fair :-)

The President's Award, the IRI Scholarship, and the Mentor of the Year Award all require action before the IRI (June 30, 2004). Hurry and get your nominations in! :)

If your team has any Harry Potter lovers on it...or even people who just want to see a cool show...the Indiana State Museum IMAX theatres will be showing Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban beginning July 9. Odds are it will sell out so go here (http://www.imaxindy.com) to get reserve tickets...only $8.95 a person and maybe group rates available.
