BattleCry has just posted two new updates (http://www.wpi.edu/News/Events/BattleCry/tactical.html) on their website including Arrival Information and a New Rule...

A few spots have opened up for the competition so any team that is still interested in coming email battlecry@wpi.edu.

On another note we will be doing the interviews again this year. For everyone who wasn't there last year I interviewed people and then during the down time between matches we showed them on the big screen. I was wondering what types of questions you would like answered and who you think I should interview?

Yay! 10 point balls on the field after Auto mode!! Pushing the balls on to the field really does make the game more exciting.

See you all at Battle Cry

for the mini-bot competition, can you bring your own robot? or do you have to use the one provided?

I am assuming you can not bring your own robot because we want all teams to have an equal chance of winning. I am not the official word on this tho.

oh well, it was worth a shot. it was just that I have this handy edubot replica of the shrimp rover that could easily climb up the 6 inch step without the help of a ramp. looks like it will have to wait for another day.

Is there going to be a driver skills test I hear?

If you read SITREP1 (http://www.wpi.edu/News/Events/BattleCry/tactical.html#sitrep1) under the third bullet you will see the rules for our version of a drivers skills test. This is only for the teams that are there on Friday. It is a competition that has been dubbed "Barring the Raise" and you drive little robots trying to get to the top of the ramp.
