Attention all FIRST teams!

The University of Connecticut at Storrs will be running a teacher training camp to help them become more aware of math and science as possible futures for their students. I am requesting e-mail addresses of high school and middle school teachers who would be interested in receiving an e-mail with more details about the program. Teachers need not only be science, math, or technology education teachers. All are welcome.

I will collect addresses through replies to this post, personal e-mails to Viper8Ltr@comcast.net with a list of the addresses, or addresses in an Excel or Word file. I will be compiling a large Excel file full of teachers and their e-mails. I will make this list available to everyone when it is completed. This way, we have a large e-mail database for future reference.

Thank you all! Enjoy your summer!

Nick

Da Vinci project? I've heard that name somewhere (http://www.davinciproject.com/) before.... (It's an X-Prize team.)

Somehow, I don't think that is related. I will check with someone though and post a reply back.

I suspect that Buzz Dawson (http://www.teamdavinci.com/aboutbuzz.htm) and his DaVinci Robotics Educational Foundation (http://www.teamdavinci.com/) is what you're looking for. I got to hang out with Buzz at the last BattleBotsIQ competition, where he told me how much fun he has teaching robotics. I suspect that his class is not only educational, but a lot of fun too.

Certainly not related. I was being facetious.
