Too bad you did not slam dunk on one of the basketball hoops while on the segway. Ever tried jumping off a ramp while travelling down? That would look cool. Or run over some aluminum cans. Or both.

If I didn't know any better, I'd think that they sound like jet planes when the go by. Good shots, but cut out the sound if you're gonna use it any other place.

Isn't that your 5th or 100th segway video? You need some "I <3 my segway" bumber stickers or SOMETHING... :rolleyes:

It looked like it went pretty fast. The fastest i've actually seen a person on a segway would be around 10 MPH in a little race we had at the UTC Regional.

I fail to "get" the segway. As a novelty item, it seems you could get more bang for the buck. As a mode of transporation it seems to fill a small gap between bicycling and walking.

I remember tracking the segway online before it came out, when everyone was buzzing about this revolutionary thing. I used to haunt various forums and I remember someone dug up a patent application for "Ginger," which later turned out to be the segway. At the time, I refused to believe that it was a scooter. :p

Have you tried hooking up a bicycle computer to your segway, so you could get actual speed? I know a kid did it with his powerchair...

Yeah, the machine I have had one on it but it is gone now (Why I dont know I just saw the magnet on the wheel). Some of the original DEKA machines had bike computers on them as well. I'll look for a picture after.
