Sort by username doesn't work in the picture galleries?

I tried to sort by username in a couple of the picture galleries and it defaults back to sort by date and shows me those results.

I've had that problem - I just search by 'title'.

"one day" i will be rewriting the galleries from scratch and this will be fixed.
it's on the todo list .. i've been busy lately, though.
