Anyone see the small article in Parade Magazine last week? It mentioned a member of the national chairman's award winning team, but right now I can't remember why. I was impressed because the article wasn't about FIRST, but seemed to speak of FIRST matter-of-factly like it's so well known.

I might still have the paper in the recycle pile in the basement. I'll have to go look.
[EDIT] I don't have that paper anymore. I looked at the Parade Archive (http://archive.parade.com/) but didn't see anything listed in there.

Darn it, I could kick myself.
Oooo, I'll check library tomorrow.
It wasn't in Parade but the other Sunday magazine - USA something. It was in an article about hot new electronic devices for students. they talked to 5 "high achieving" students about what they use. The last one highlighted was a student who used a combination PDA/cell phone (if my memory is correct - not always a good bet). They casually mentioned that he is a member of the chairman's award winning FRIST team.

Thanks everybody!
That's what I liked, that it was casually mentioned as tho FIRST Robotics is common knowledge.
