As some of you may know FIRST founder Dean Kamen owns an island off the coast of CT.

While Dean established a non-aggression pact with the US and the island has it's own currency wouldn't it still be cool if he had his own custom US state quarter?

So.. If he was to be included in the USA state quarter run, what would be on the quarter?

I'm going to say a wind turbine. After all, the island wouldn't be nearly as (in?)famous otherwise. (Yeah, we FIRSTers would still think it's cool...but we've got to establish the cool factor for everyone else. Lots of folks have islands with stuff on them. :D )

Everyone is missing the obvious. There would obviously be a Segway on the quarter possibly with the lighthouse or wind turbine in the background.

I would say to have a segway on it and the FIRST logo of course! It is easy to put a segway on something and convert the wheel of the segway into the circle in the FIRST logo.

I would say put a big FIRST logo on it but also have something from each of the teams in the FIRST program! :D

three things: needles (he invented the auto-syringe), Segway, and the FIRST Logo. Also say "Dave will definitely think THIS is Pimp" circling the quarter. :yikes:

don't know what the picture would be but I know it would have a built in gyro so when you toss it for Heads or Tails it would stand on edge instead

Don't forget that it should also have a denim texture to it (as a background to the photo).
