y-u-c-k time a bazillion. Peeps are so nasty, there like artificial marshmellows covered in artificial sugar. I litereally gag when i see a person put a Peep in there mouth and eat it. blahhh times a million zillion lol

Okay, slight exception to the above: I don't like anything marshmellow-based for Halloween. However, when Easter comes, we buy them in bulk.

Each day at work, our demonstrations staff put Peeps through all sorts of science-related torture for the delight of audiences.

We burn them and freeze them and put them into a vacuum and all sorts of other ridiculous things. I think they're gross to begin with, but after seeing them in a Bell jar, I wouldn't dare touch one.

Yeah, but the trick is to only do it for 10-15 seconds, right before they get brown (about the time when they're at theyre largest).

I am one of those people that love sweets, any kind, and Peeps are a must. however, the only kind i will eat are the yellow chicks. My mother was adamant growing up that the yellow chicks are the only REAL kind of Peeps, and I wholeheartedly agree. I pass the aisles of white stars, hot pink bunnies, and orange pumpkins on their respective holidays.

To those of you who don't like them - have you ever eaten one? It's only a sugar-coated marshmallow... how could it be so gross?!

I have to admit, I am guilty of torturing innocent peeps... I like to impale them on sharp sticks and then roast them over bonfires. (http://www.factorfantasy.com/Photos/peeps.jpg) They catch on fire really quickly, and always end up burnt. Burnt peeps (http://www.factorfantasy.com/Photos/peeps2.jpg) do not taste good, however it is worth roasting them because you get to sing "The peeps, the peeps, the peeps are on fire."

Gotta agree with DK on this one.

Every Easter, my grandma always sends my brother, sister and I a ton of candy - and for some reason she thinks "Peeps" are my favorite candy -- I always get a ton of them. (even if I mention that I don't care for them).

Come to think of it, they do happen to be my mom's favorite candy ... Maybe she tells my grandma to buy them for me, knowing full well I'll give them to her once gandma's gone home ... hey .... :yikes:

Dude, peeps are tasty, but only when they're fresh. If they've been exposed to air for too long they get hard and gross.
