Team 716 will be at UTC to defend our title!!!! ;) (so will our 2004 alliance partners 230 and 571)

We're already talking about a repeat tailgating party!
Although my team couldn't go last year, definitley do this again ... it was a nice gesture to all of the teams who attended the regional, even if they couldn't come.

I can't wait !!!!! :D

Worse comes to worse, you can take the Commuter rail out to Wellesley and I'll drive you down there...that is, if you can put up with my driving :D

I chose "Advanced Welding and Metalurgy" over "The American Cinema" simply because Welding is a Tuesday only class. How sad is that...

After some serious schedule tweaking, it looks like I'm all clear for long FIRST weekends! ;)

UTC is the first weekend of Clarkson's spring break.
So I'm sure you'll see some random 229ers bumming around. (We're not competing that weekend.)
I can't wait!

Yes, I can't wait for competition season to be back! It's a special time of year. I don't know where I'm living yet though, it'll either be CT for Florida. So my regional list is up in the air. One thing is for sure though, the companies I'll co-op for are only those who understand FIRST. Taking time off to volunteer is very important.

UTC is a classic though, I've been there the past four years. It'll be sad to miss the fifth :( .

Team 121 as of now will not being going to UTC *tear* but you will see me hanging around with the Tick Chicks, and walking around on friday afternoon/night and saturday (yes i am looking to stay at someones house on friday night :D ) lol...

Well, team 236 is planning on going to UTC, and they are hoping to get other teams to try out the tick dance. As far as I'm concerned, spirit is a perfectly relevent discussion, as it has to do with what will happen at the UTC competition.

I think that the tick dance video is really cute!!

The tick dance is "gunna go down" whether you like it or not! :D

I just cant wait till UTC. The UTC regional is so much fun, the atmosphere is spectacular, an electric-flying experience, spirit is unbelievable and a very great competitive regional as well.

2) Has any team already reserved the right to set up a network, or any other kind of technical thing a ma whatsit.

For video i do have all of our teams matches, but im not sure how much that will help, and i know the event was webcasted, so you might want to contact whoever ran the webcam and then see if they archived it.

But as of right now (unless we get another grant or sponser) Team 121 will NOT be attending the UTC regional in 2005. Me and posiblly Bridgette and MattShea may be going on friday and ariving between 3-4, and staying over night (anyone want to take us in?!?) and being at the event all day on Sat...

I'm happy to say Team 296 will be once again coming down from Canada to the 2005 UTC Regional (after a year of absence). Unfortunately we misplaced the chicken suit we had two years ago, so there won't be a crazy canadian chicken running around this time distributing canada stickers.

We'll also be bringing our wirelessly-networked match schedule system with us (the one that we made available to Galileo teams during the Championship event). It shows your team's matches on a computer screen and counts down to them, taking field earliness/lateness into account.

Yes, the short video that had interviews of some team members and showed ever team name and number. That was an awesome video and i want to see it again somehow.

If you are referring to the one that highlighted the UTC teams, yes, I have a copy. Unfortunately I was told I couldn't distribute it (I believe due to copyright ownership?) but will PM you with more info. I just watched it again this week, and yes, it was a fantastic video!
