Pepsi-Cola "Holiday Spice"

Ok, its Friday night and I'm bored. I just picked up a bottle of Pepsi-Cola Holiday Spice and I think it's pretty good stuff. I'm just wondering what everyone else thinks.

The flavor is pretty hard to explain....it's not peppermint, more like cinnamon and a few other spices.

It tastes like Pepsi, with a aftertaste of nutmeg. Really nasty, if you ask me.

And, if you shake it, it looks like tomato juice.

Did anyone try Mountain Dew 'Pitch Black'? It came out around Halloween. Good stuff too.

It was good, but not as good as the Baja Blast (Blue) Dew made exclusively for Taco Bell.

I really don't like Baja Blast... it tastes like the ocean, only carbonated and colored bright blue.
Pitch Black is tasty though. ^.^

Baja Blast was just like a carbonated Powerade or something similar.

As for that new Holiday Spice Pepsi, it just tastes like flat Pepsi.
It does have a slight hint of a cinnamon scent when you burp though. :)

My friends roommate had some and said it was all right. Baja Blast is an acquired taste.

I tried some of the Holiday Spice Pepsi, and I didn't think it tasted much different. It had a bit of a cinnamon aftertaste, but that was all. It's also rather red, if you look at it in the light.

at the store i work at...the entire end display of pepsi spice was full...not one bottle had been sold so far :eek: great advertising pepsi :rolleyes:

I bought a bottle the other day, and threw it away after a few sips. The only big difference between Holisday Spice and regular Pepsi I noticed, was that HS had a *horrible* after-taste.

Not Pepsi's best .. then again, I'm more of a Coca-Cola girl, myself. :p

I tried it last night and didn't even realize it was supposed to be flavored until I looked at the can more closely...
It really doesn't taste any different from regular Pepsi.
But as a result the soda is pink. That's kinda creepy.

Apparently, new Pepsi 2 liter bottles have a new package design in store for us that allows it to be held in one hand.

Now some questions may be: How does it taste compared to Pepsi coming out of an original bottle? Will all new bottle have this design? (Remember when a 2 liter had a round cap on the bottom instead of feet?)

But, if they squeezed the sides in to make it narrower and more ergonomic thus making the cross section of the bottle smaller in that area and potentially making the bottle taller to fit the same amount of liquid into the bottle then the real important question is, will it still fit in my fridge? :ahh:

Well, okay, there is a very subtle difference that I can notice, but that's only when I'm trying to tell the difference. If I'm drinking it regularly (i.e., drinking it for the sake of enjoyment), there's no difference whatsoever.

I personally don't like Pepsi either. I'm more of a Coca-Cola person. Heck, I'm a root beer person than everything else. And what's with the Holiday Spice, suppost to be something for the holidays? Might as well have Code Red. :D

I finally got to try Holiday Spice the other day. I haven't seen it in the stores by me yet but it was on the "coach roach" that comes at work everyday.
I liked it for the simple fact it isn't too overpowering with the cinnamon and you can still taste the cola.
Bottom line, it's something I wouldn't drink everyday but it isn't bad to have now and then.

I have finally tried it! It kind of tasted the same as regular Pepsi at first, but then I drank more of it and really enjoyed it. =) It has that hint of cinnamon but not much I think...Just enough. It's greeeeat. =D I'll have to go out and get some for myself..xD

This guy is drinking noting but Pepsi Holiday Spice for 45 days (similar to the movie Super-Size Me, in which a man ate nothing but McDonald's food with frightening effects). He's keeping a blog to document the impact it is having on his body. Snip: "I instantly started sneezing, which made me $@#$@#$@#$@# my pants and on top of the horror I got another bloody nose.
