View Full Version : Looking for Thread Information - Bosch Motor
Hey Guys,
I'm looking for the thread type and size of the left handed screw which goes into the Bosch Drill transmission. You know, the one used to attach to the end of the Transmission shaft.
Does anyone have this information?
Thanks in advance,
John

No problem: http://www2.usfirst.org/2003comp/Specs/SB_lh_screw.pdf
Many Thanks from 229!
For future searchers (in case that document ever gets taken down)
The screw is a Left Hand, Metric #6.
Does anybody have any idea where one could purchase this type of screw? I searched both McmasterCarr, and MSC direct to no avial, and i found the part number of the screw through bosch...but they don't let you order it. Anybody have any ideas?
Thanks in advance,
Chris C

Did you make sure that MMH doesn't have any in stock? http://www2.usfirst.org/2004comp/MMH_Ventures_Fax_Order_Form-RevA.pdf

Tool stores that carry Bosch drills should have it in stock. You might even find it at Home Depot, etc. Look for replacement drill chucks.

I'm pretty sure you can call up bosch and get some. I think my team had some overnighted to us when we needed them last year.
