This fall team 1011 is building a prototype new drive system, and in order to keep it cheep, and to explore kit parts that we have not used in the past, we are trying to make it out of only wood and old unused kit parts, with as little extra cost as possible. The new drive system has a pivot in the center, and is driven separately on each side of the pivot. So for this we need two separate gear boxes, and the kit only gave us one. We are hoping that some generous team out there is willing to give us one of theirs from a kit in the past, and we will happily pay for shipping. The kit transmission comes in a bag labeled "gear bag" and has in it bearings, helical gears, and six black plastic pieces that fit together to make a box. Thanks in advance to the team that leaps to our need.
