Describe FIRST in one word

I was browsing through CD when i started thinking about a single word to describe FIRST, and its very hard to summarise FIRST into just one word. So here is the fun part, every one gets to post a word that describes FIRST best through his/her perspective. (eg. innovation, competition, co-operation, helping, robotics, fun e.t.c)

My first pick would be:

Inspiration

It is a ruling philosophy in our team- "its never too late to be inspired"
It also encompasses our belief that no student will be ignored if they have a passion for learning and some dedication
Plus, it reminds me of our late-night design sessions- somehow I've theorized that depending on what I have for dinner, my inspirations will be of different "types" (I'm just crazy... :D )

But since that has already been used, time for my runner up word:

Opportunity

... for fun, learning, passion, excitement, challenges, trustbuilding, designing, teamwork and everything else I just can't seem to think of right now.

Now before anyone takes that the wrong way, I say this because no matter how many times I try to leave, I get sucked back in! (So I mean this in a joking/good natured way!)

For more formal definitions (rather the the religious fanatical ones), I would go with this:
1. An exclusive group of persons sharing an esoteric, usually artistic or intellectual interest.
*There is just something about FIRST that is impossible to convey without being a part of it, or going to a competition
2. Obsessive, especially faddish, devotion to or veneration for a person, principle, or thing.
*I would say all of us have a devotion to FIRST :) (though I hope it isnt faddish!)
3. The object of such devotion.

That would be either "dedication" or "commitment". They're related, I know, but you can make a commitment, but it's only true if you are dedicated and follow through.
