Aahhhh! Now the conspiracy has been revealed! Team Hammond is REALLY funded through their sales commissions from the local Apple store! And now we know that the REAL "The Secrets Of A Well Funded Team" are as follows:

Step 1. Sign secret deal with Apple
Step 2. Make special version of "Secrets Of A Well Funded Team" video in QuickTime-only format
Step 3. Distribute video to computationally-crippled PC-only community that is hungry for the secrets to Team Hammond success
Step 4. Collect commissions as PC community buy Mac just to see your "Secrets" video
Step 5. Go to even more competitions! :)

I can just imagine how the backroom conversations went:

"Hey Bugsy, d'ya think they will fall fer dis?"

"Yeah Mugsy, dem other teams is so hard up for da Hammond secrets dat dey will do just about anythin' to git more info"

"So if dis woiks, we could be just rollin' in da dough before the season even starts!"

"Yeah, and den we won't even have to knock over any more banks or nuttin' to fund da team!"

"And maybe we can pull in enough cash to spring "Big Bill" from da joint!"

I heard a rumor that 71 had Steven Spielberg film this with their extra budget money this year.

I heard a rumor that 71 had enough money in their budget that their mentors can afford suits.

I heard a rumor that 71 bought that hotel with the extra money they got from their school district this year.

Alternatively, download Quicktime Alternative (http://www.free-codecs.com/download/QuickTime_Alternative.htm) to view the video Apple-free, and deny Beatty their Apple kickbacks. Preferably using your FireFox browser while running Linux, so you can stick it to as many big corporations as possible in one fell swoop.
