Programming Sensors

I am learning programming currently and one of my first "jobs" is to work with another person on gyro, banner, infared, and possibly another type of sensors.

My job is to program these sensors. Are there any places I can find sensor information and information on programming sensors?

Thank you, I just grabbed everything off that, does anyone know any other helpful places because that helped with some of the types, but I am one of 2 programmers and the other isn't dedicated
