I'm curious if anyone has ever given a thought to a national fund-raising organization for the teams, by the teams? I had a similar idea for iF, but thought it wrong that a non-profit company should be raising money for teams, and without their input. I also thought the effects as far as becoming a far-reaching effort would be greatly increased through a national alliance of teams and organizations. Does anyone have any thoughts on this subject? I'm very interested in hearing. Either post or email me at lee4th@comcast.net. Thanks.

Maybe something like a "general tech help" group. Where teams can divide up the country and do something a bit like "Geeks on Call" to help people with various computer/technology issues. Stuff like:

"The internet is broken!"
Set up my new hifi system
"My radiator needs to be flushed, and my tires rotated."

Okay, maybe not that last one, but you get the idea. We pool money for advertising and such...
