I believe the mark was set this weekend in NJ at 150 by team 224 and #? against 88 and 11. The score of the match was 57 to 50. Oh well can't win them all but if anybody knows of another match higher then this just give a reply.

I don't know of any higher than 150, but I've only been to the Buckeye regional. The highest there was only 132. Impressive, but not the highest.

150 is the highest....
Although it was almost beaten in GLR where there was almost a 180 or something match, but 2 robots didnt make it to their robot zone....it was soo close....
I do know the highest at GLR was a 138..

Hey team 88 that was a pretty good match we were in, sorry that we couldn't pick up balls though, one of our rollers had its bearing pop out. If that hadn't happend we might have beaten em. Yea I think that was the highest qp match though.

Ok,
We didn't have the highest score yet, but Wildstang Team #111 got a score of 111 in qualifying at MMR. Scary, huh? Also a 108.
Good Luck All

So what did everyone calculate to be the highest QP's you can get?
I calculated it to be:
Match total Team A has 65pts to Team B has 65 points
Losers x 3 = 195 total QP (highest)
So who won?
Team A has:
2 Robots in scoring position 20pts
1 Goal in scoring position 10pts
35 balls in scoring position 35pts
Total 65pts
Team B has:
2 Robots in scoring position 20pts
2 Goals in scoring position 10pts
15 Balls in scoring position 35pts
Total 65pts
Ok who won?
This would be an awesome match if it ever happened!

Was the 150 in a match with 4 active robots? Or were the opponents disabled (thus giving the winner 3x their own score).

all robots were functioning/moving as far as I know.
Todd about the basketball game no one wanted to play and I passed out when I returned home. Sorry

Lemme take a crack at this:
Team A:
40 - 4 robots
30 - 3 goals
50 - 50 balls
120 total
Team B:
Disqualified
Team A gets 3 times their own score for DQ.
360 point match!
This would be a sad match to see though. Team B would have to do something pretty messed up to get DQ'ed with the way the rules are...
Also the chances of this happening is very slim. As soon as a team is DQ'ed the match is stopped.
The match is not necessarily stopped at the moment of a DQ. Some are determined after the match is over such as a part of a robot being under the goal.

BTW - 156 points - awesome.

Neither of these consider a DOUBLE ZONE robot.
We did that in one match in Philly:D We were in an endzone & sent our drone to the other endzone! Got 10 pt for each!:p

Alright so from what I gather here are the 2 highest possible qualifiction scores-
Without Disqualification
Team A
- 4 robots in endzone: 40 pts
- 2 goals in scoring position: 20 pts
- 25 balls in scoring goals: 25 pts
Sub-total:85 pts
Team B
- 4 robots in endzone: 40 pts
- 1 goal in scoring position: 10 pts
- 35 balls in scoring goal: 35 pts
Sub-total:85 pts
Final score
Team A- 85 pts
Team B- 255 pts (ball/first tyebreaker)
With Disqualification
Team A
- 4 robots in endzone: 40 pts
- 3 goals in scoring position: 30 pts
- 60 balls in scoring goals: 60 pts
Team B
- Disqualified
Final score:
Team A- 390 pts
Team B- 0 pts
I believe there are a total of 60 balls in play (40 on field, and 10 in 2 human stations) correct me if I am wrong cause in previous replies the number of balls was posted as 50.

At the Canadian Regional, Team 188 and Team 233 tied the current high of 156 QPs in a non-DQ match.
Three matches later, Team 296 and another team that I apologize for not remembering managed to get 165 pts!!! resulting from a DQ.

I think we (team 5) got 142(?) as our highest pt match!

At the UTC NE regional, team 157 had 4 matches with QP's of 130+ and finished with an average QP total of 114! From what I can see, that tops all 17 regionals!

for about 20 minutes we were holding the record with 141 qps, along with team 48 we scored that suprising amount :)
a while later, we heard over tha pa that the record is shattered :P
we were happy for the other team, must have taken alot to do that.

Tie breakers as specified in FIRST score book section SC9:
1) Alliance with least amount of penalties or warnings
2) Alliance with most Balls
3) Alliance with most Goals
4) Alliance with most Robots
5) Alliance with most balls on opposite ends of field
So:
Team A has:
2 Robots in scoring position 20pts
1 Goal in scoring position 10pts
35 balls in scoring position 35pts
Total 65pts
Team B has:
2 Robots in scoring position 20pts
2 Goals in scoring position 10pts
15 Balls in scoring position 35pts
Total 65pts
Team A wins with 35 balls and a QP total of 195!
Side note: Tie breaker #5 was used in New Haven!

Yeah, but you forgot that it is possible for a robot to score in both end zones
Note: the 5th tiebreaker was used twice at WMR

i don't know if any one had pointed this out yet but thier is only 60 balls, so how could each team have 35, hmmm? 20 on each side of the field and ten in each player station.

I gave both teams 35 balls, that was bad! Hmm... back to the drawing board! Good thing I'm not on the strategy team huh?
I'd have our human players take the balls from the extra goal that FIRST usually has sitting off to the side during the competition!
Team 100 received 117 QP's at SJ Regional (The most QP's of the enitre competition!) We were in a match against team 16 with a final score of 47-52(God they can load up those balls well) which gave them 141 qp's and sadly left us out of the top eight.

The highest amount of qps ever was given to 121 and another team when our tether went under a goal and we were disqualfied. They got three times 66 and received 198. This was a qualofying match at the Nationals.
