NYC Board of Ed is the same way they have alot of useful sites blocked but if you have an AOL account and install it on a computer at school it should let you view most if not all the sites that are blocked

THE Palm Beach County School District Blocks Chiefdelphi. If we had it avalabale at the school it would save us lots of time and allow us to explain to perspective membvers and sponsors what were about with a visuial aid.

Chief delphi is blocked at my school as well under certain conditions. I think it is blocked under the heading of "vehicles". The blocking software is called websense and is a real pain.

If you experience problems with a legit site being blocked then just contact the local school administrator or an administrator for the county you are in. They are generally reasonable people and will unblock legit sites within a few hours.

The admin had no problem allowing the sites for us, once we explained what they were and why we needed them.

Of course I would, because you actually have authority here and aren't an annoying know-it-all. And if you're all that worried about space, why are you complaining about my one-line quip and not the more than fifty lines of worthless signatures that add nothing to the discussion on this page? Why don't you complain about the huge wasted masses of space above every post due to the goofy horizontal layout?
