Did anyone else find that the tetras were really difficult to make? I thought they would be so easy... I made the parts in Inventor, then assembled them. Pieces would intersect wrong, or the angles weren't right, so I'd tweak one end, and the other would get messed up.
Then I added the Inventor to Max pluggin, and imported the files. They would look fine untill I re-opened the Max file, and there would be a weird crease in the objects. So I fixed them in Inventor, or at least thought I did, but the problem happened again. I finally solved it by welding all of the vertices then applying the smooth modifier.
Well, here they are, with all end connectors and details:

Special thanks to Petek for posting his 30 inch tetra - it helped me see how to make my own.
