I need a website opinion:

Which layout/design do you like better?

I like the new one but I also think you need to have the team pic from the old one on the new site front page somewhere just so it looks more like a robotics teams site, but I love the swamp pic that is cool. good job and good luck for the web award.

It is less repetitive, less flashy, and more interesting.

I really like the new one because it is more original than the previous version. You seem to have put a lot of work into the new design and I think you should be proud of it.

One suggestimendation. If you do a 'select-all' you'll notice that you have the top image of the gate as an <img>. This is not in and of itself bad. However, I would recommend making that part of the background image and just padding that text down more so it fits properly.

This way, if I accidently click and drag it (like I did) I won't open it by itself :o

I'd go with the new website. It loads much faster on my 128kbps. (which is not highspeed)
Also the new site seems a lot more organized. The layout of the new site is great, I like it. :D

very nice job on the new site. you may want to add a few more things, like the main page photo that kyle mentioned, but the main part is excellent. :D
