If it's April it must be road construction Season.
These aren't major projects, but I thought I'd spread the word so teams can plan accordingly.
East Bound 196 west of Grandville and Grand Rapids (mile 65) is down to one lane for about a mile. Likewise in downtown there are lane reductions for a short distance. These should not be major, but allow for some extra travel time.
For teams staying at the Residence Inn or other hotels near the Rivertown Crossings Mall in Grandville should be aware that Rivertown Parkway just west of 196 is reduced to one lane (I think in both directions). It may be better to get off at the Wilson Avenue Exit and come South to 44th, especially for buses. This will likely only be a problem in the mornings heading downtown. I'll try and post a map later.
