New Haven ball trouble

just got back from the first day of practice. The balls at newhaven are smaller than regulation. We have trouble holding them in our basket, i noticed some other teams with similar problems. The team thinks that its because of the cold floor condensing the air inside the balls. The floor still has a hockey rink under it. Its covered with a piece of plastic and the carpet is on top of that. Has anyone had the same trouble?

We seemed to notice a change over time in ball size at Cleveland which is really easy for us to tell because of our ball tosser (some worked some didnt)....but we made 1 slight change which allowed for adjustability and everything works now over the course of the 3 days....


My suggestion is try to make small changes and hope for the best cuz i seriously doubt FIRST will resize the balls (takes too long) ;)
