Hey everybody,
after a long time, (way to long time) ..., I'm finally releasing the Robot Monitoring Program "Gangster Watcher" for everybody to use.
It is written in VB.Net and of course Open Source. It's main purpose is to make debugging your Robot a lot easier. What it can do is read values of variables that were sent with printf in a certain manner and displaying them in form of numbers, strings, and right now 3 different graphical Viewers (X,Y Axis-Viewer, DigitalViewer, Wheel Viewer).
If you want to know more about how it works look here:
http://www.chiefdelphi.com/forums/showthread.php?t=33270
If you just want to go ahead and download it or see some Screenshots go here:
http://www.werocktheusa.com/gw/
I hope it's going to help a lot of teams out there finishing their Programing under the slowly increasing pressure towards the end of the build season.
If anybody has questions or problems just post it in this thread and I'll answer your question as fast as possible. Another thing I would probably do is writing some more Viewers for the Sensors you guys are using, just let me know what you need and I'll see what I can do. I'll probably upload an updated version including a Gyroscope Angle Viewer this Weekend ...
Bye
