Our team is really close on weight and I want to know how much the LED's weigh so I can factor it into the weight of the robot

They're only a few ounces each I believe, I can't find the exact weight however. :(

Q: Do we need to account for the weight of the LED cluster in the total robot limit? If so, how heavy is it?
A: Yes. Approximately 0.15 pounds each x 2 LED's.
I beleive this was also in one of the team updates.

The team update said .25 lbs. This means we can drill 10 less holes and still make weight! :D

This is kind of OT, but when do we get the LEDs? How much time will we have to attach them?

will they count in our 120 lbs? that doesnt sound right if we cant weigh them and have to weight them in with our final weight.

Yes, they count towards the 120lbs limit. As Joe posted, expect the total weight of them to be ~0.30 lbs.

They will be given out at your first regional event. You will have plenty of time to put them on, just have to have them on before you are inspected on Thursday.

Well i guess its a good thing we packed our Jig saw and some metal blades. :ahh: :ahh: might have to shave off a 1/4lbs or so.

Yes, it's always good to come prepared with everything... I hope that my team will remember to take a saw...
