so lost we need help with automous

hey all

OK I have a question on the automous mode. We are trying to get the if statement to work we followed the directions in the thread but we keep gettin a sytax error. We want to use multiple auto modes but we lost help please.

I tried to put in what they have but I dont know where it goes they dont have good enough information for me to follow.
could some one explain it better?(where the code goes in kevins navigation code we want to switch between plans we made.)
