Here we are stacking tetras easily on the center goal while at a practice at Jesuit HS (1097) this past weekend. Here's a movie of us as well....

Team 701 stacking movie (http://www.travisusd.k12.ca.us/vanden/clubs/robotics/Pics/04-05/BuildSeason/PracticePics/MOV00476.MPG)

Should be fun!! We can usually cap a goal in ~ 15 sec or less but we didn't practice much picking up the tetra while on the loading zone. It sounds like they are loosening up the rule a little bit for the competition. We'll see.

Your robot looks like it would be very close to the point of the loading zone triangle when it makes contact with the tetra. Are you sure that will fit in the loading zone properly?

In the movie you see us about 3 feet out when picking up the tetra off the loader. This is close, but to get a wheel on the loading zone triangle, we'll need to get a bit closer. So we will have to telescope our arm and pick the tetra up from above which is something we have done but didn't practice much. Who know's, it may improve our time a little, since we telescope anyways when capping.
