Looks pretty nice.
Quick comment though. You might want to make that red bar a little farther away from the text on the front page. (I'm our school's newspaper layout editor, and I just cringed when I saw that.)

I second that. Switching the red nav bar and the sponsor links should do the job nicely, though. Having it in the middle of the page is too distracting.
Other than that, I like it. :)
You mean increase the cell padding in the table to get the text away from the line?
Good suggestion I'll work on that. :-)
Thank you.

Well the menue bar is there just to stand out, it's different. Once you click on a sub page the menu bar goes over to the side :-)
It's a really nice layed out website, hardly ever see great websites using shapes other than boxes without using Flash.
One thing though, you don't seem to have any information about FIRST. Or maybe you do, just that i cant find it :O !
Also theres a broken image on the School page, the top banner within the frame is missing.
Other than that, one word: Wow! :D
I suggest you change the layout altogether, if it wouldn't take too long, for one simple reason. This is how I test a custom layout: I blur my vision by focusing way in front of the screen, then look at the site.
When I did that with your site, my point of focus on your site went from the header, to the red menu bar in the middle of the page, to the main body of text, then right off the right side of the page. The horizontal red bar along with the vertical red bar direct one's focus away from the information :(. Hopefully that's not too in-depth of an analysis.
