Way to go Ryan! As an Eagle Scout, I know how hard it is to juggle boy scouts and robotics. Congratulations and keep it up!
Sincerely,

Thanks Chris et al. It took a while to attain the rank of Eagle, but it was definately worth it. I mean, if I can get my own congratulatory thread on Chiefdelphi, who knows what's next :]
All those possible Eagles out there - keep it up, don't procrastinate, get 'er done.

Well done!
Once an Eagle, always an Eagle!
One Scout on our Team also just achieved Eagle and there are three others who suspended work on their projects for the duration of the robot build period (the labor pool dried up for some reason), but they're back at work now.

Hey, Congratulations!
My brother made it to eagle scout a few months ago, so i know how much time and effort it takes to do it all. You are all amazing!
Not to mention that i am extremely happy to see more teenagers staying in scouting in high school- it's such a wonderful organization!
Congratulations!!!!!!!!!

Good Job Ryan!
It makes me wish I would have stayed in boyscouts and not dropped out of it when I was a regular cubscout.

Ryan,
I couldn't even make it past the cubscouts, however:
My younger (smarter) brother is an Eagle Scout -- and I know what an incredible achievement it is.
Congratulations!

Yay Ryan! You've always seemed to be a hard worker, and when I saw my brother doing all the things he did for his scout troup, I was amazed. I did girl scouts, but I didn't have the heart to keep going. I really wish I had kept it up now since I'm seeing how passionate all these people are. You're really awesome, and I am so proud of you! *sniffle* Great job and keep up the excellent work!
Congrats to all the rest of you, too. I can see the dedication in all of y'all (go figure, you're in FIRST. ;) )
Love always in Scouting,
Dorienne

You have a smarter brother :ahh: that's pretty scary. In a couple of years we'll be saying I'm the other JVN or I'm mini JVN.
PS - I did win 2 pinewood derbys... weird!
I was runner up once, to a guy who cheated. Soneone didn't bring their GP, but my reaction wasn't exactly graciously professional either (I was young :) )
Oh yes, and another note (kind of related, kind of off-topic), I may be bringing somewhere between 15-20 boy scouts with me to so-cal to get them interested/give them something to do on a free Saturday.
Again, Congrats Ryan
