Attended the NEW Finger Lakes Regional today
Ran into a lot of old friends
Koko Ed mentioned that people on ChiefDelphi.com were wondering if I fell of the face of the earth!
I could not be on a team this year, got a new job as lead project engineer at a new (small) company. Been working crazy hours making the video eyewear on this website: www.icuiti.com
Im the project engineer for the V920 and M920 products. They just hit the market in january, so Im really busy. Gotta get this company big enough to form a FIRST team.
Thanks to everyone who asked about me. It feels nice to be missed :^)

Ken, it's good to know that you're still on the face of the earth and gravity is still existent where you are!
I wondered what had happened to you also. I remember when you spent a lot of time on here and would reply to 20 threads a day. Some of us also missed your humor! :D
Welcome back and try to pop on here from time to time...............we don't bite. ;)

yeah, it was fun showing it off today. For every 2 minutes I spent shooting a match, 5 or 6 people would want to see it.
It works great for standing at the sidelines and holding the camcorder way up in the air. I can still work the zoom button, and see what the camera sees
only problem is my arm gets tired holding the camera up in the air
but its great being able to film over everyones head.

Im not really back. I only wanted to poke my nose in here and let everyone know what Ive been up to.
I invited the CEO of my new company to the regional today, and he showed up with his wife and 3 teenage kids
and walking around the pits he had "the look" ! you know "wow! this is awesome.... Ive never seen anything like this"
and it wasnt long before he was asking a FIRST official "how much does it cost to sponser a team? Whats involved? How long is the design time...."
and they stayed for the entire playoffs.
They really should put warning signs at all entrances: "WARNING! FIRST IS CONTAGIOUS!"
I think he's been infected :^)
