Just wanted to give you guys the heads up that the Bomb Squad is strongly considering having the Brawl this year. Nothing is final yet and we haven't even begun discussing dates but if any teams are interested, e-mail me or just leave a post. Thanks!

Woohoo! Baxter Brawl. Yes, plz leave a post if you are interested, or you can get ahold of someone on Baxter Bomb Squad, and we'll start working stuff out. At nationals, we'll try to have some info together to hand out to those teams that are interested. In the mean time, we'll get to work!

Thanks

We've been waiting for a chance to come back since 2000. If you guys put it on, we'll try to bring a bot and some kids for sure. We won't be at Nationals though, so be sure to keep us in the loop through the forum, or e-mail at ajlapp@mtu.edu. Thanks.

Great! We will probably need several teams to make it good, so we are going to make some flyers to give out at nationals. I will try to keep this particualr post updated on date. As of now, I think it will be on June 15, which is a Saturday. If not then, then I it will probably close to that date. I will post more information as soon as the flyer is made. I think it will be a great follow up with the end of the first season.

Sweet. :) I always wanted to go in high school, and I think the team I'm working with right now would at least be interested in more info. If it works out, we'd love to come.

Sounds awesome. I wanted to be there 2 years ago, but it didn't work out for the team. Haven't talked to them about it yet this year, but I'm pretty sure that the FEDS would be interested in being there. Hope it all works out.

I'm pretty sure you can count on seeing 356 at the Brawl. I'll come up by myself if I have to. =)

We asked our high school if we could have the gym on the 13th, 14th, and 15th to have the brawl. We got the go ahead from the athletic director, but we still don't have everything together. We are going to get everything in order real soon, but I would like to ask you to leave your email if you are interested! As soon as we get the info, we will start emailing it out to the one's who left their email. I'm not sure how many teams we will have, but i'm almost positive it is free, as long as you can get here. As soon as the final "okay" is given by our sponsors, then we will get that info out to everyone's email addresses. We talked to beatty, wildstang, hot bot, and several good teams, so hopefully it will be fun, yet still have great competition.

Just leave me those email addresses so we can get some info out. I hope everything works out :)

I spoke with Dr. Wright (356's Engineer/ Coach / Founder/ Lead Whip Cracker) about the Brawl and we will definitely be there. We can bring this year's robot and last year's robot. Feel free to email me any time.

To all the teams interested in the Baxter Bomb Squad Brawl. You must reply to baxter_team016@hotmail.com to let us know that you will be coming. We need this information to make up a playing schedule and know how many people to provide a team party for. The Brawl will be held June 14-15 in Mountain Home, Arkansas. We are planning Friday June 14 to consist of individual events such as a human player contest and robot Olympics. Saturday June 15 the qualifying and finals matches will take place. There will be no admittance fee charged for the Brawl. The Bomb Squad will host a team party Friday June 14 that will include a meal. The Baxter Bomb Squad has compiled a list of area hotels and campsites that could accommodate your team. If you plan to attend this year's Brawl, please respond to baxter_team016@hotmail.com by June 1. Please include in that e-mail how many people you plan to bring.
