Old versions folder [Archive]

Hi

just ondering whether it is alright to delete the old versions folder for inventor, or whether it needs it?

I've done it before and Inventor usually refuses to open the new documents. It probably uses the folder as a reference for the current assembly.

We upgraded from inventor 5 to 7 recently and some files could only be opened from that folder so it caused a bit of frustration (but then again our network is junk). Personally I wouldnt delete it, but as to wether it needs it im not sure. I am inclined to agree with DanielBCR though. It makes sense now that I think about it.
