It gets very old to always come onto CD and see how everybody is complaining about how the volunteers, refs, judges, and FIRST staff are horrible and are making unfair calls, etc.
We should all take time to set back to look at the bigger picture in the opportunities we have been blessed to be involved in. All of the volunteers are unselfishly donating their time to help the cause we call FIRST. They take time off work and time away from family so that we all can have a good time while playing with robots being [I]nspired in science, technology, and engineering.
This is my 3rd year to volunteer at FIRST events, and it's not easy. We are put into positions where judgement calls have to be made, and it will almost always make some people upset. I would like to continue to volunteer because I believe in FIRST and the mission, but if these negative attitudes don't settle down, why should I volunteer if I am going to be kicked in the butt?
Constructive criticizm works, mean spirited negativism doesn't.
Go FIRST!
