I'm looking for 3dsmax lego plugin. For a fun project I was going to model this years FFL field. Since I want this to be as realistic as possible I was wondering if anyone had a Lego 3dsmax plugin. Also if no one knows of one has anyone ever modeled a lego block before and can offer some advice? I have Ldraw but unfortuneatly that only makes Ldraw files and jpegs...

Our animation team this year used legos in our animation this year. We used a program called LeoCAD. U can find it at LeoCAD.com (i think0 or just search for it. The only problem is that some of the exports come out really bad when going from LeoCAD to 3ds. There are tons of extra polygons and un needed faces. Its something to use but i dont know if it is the best thing to use. Just be careful with all the stuff u decide to build. I also think that the program only supported a certain amount of bricks, however many of them were there.

Also, if you're looking for exact realism, you could always make the lego pieces in Inventor - I did this at one point, and it turned out well.

There's a script that you can get here (http://mitglied.lycos.de/bogi1976/) called LEGOLIZER.

Here's a thread you can view that shows some example of people using the script.

If you need help using the script, PM me and I'll type up a tutorial for you. It's a really fun script to play with.

Thanks for the help!
Renegade how do you export as a .3ds or a file that 3ds max can read? I've yet to look at the script but I will soon.
