.. they are going to show a segment (On The Greater Toronto Regional) on Daily Planet on Tuesday at 7PM EST, Discovery Channel :D... .

Aww! Once again I am denied a recordable, mailable way to explain to sponsors what exactly we do. Do you know of any upcoming US media coverage on the nationals?

It's always cool to see FIRST get recognition on television. It's a bummer that its only gonna be seen in Canada though.

I'm not sure if this is linked to the filming in Toronto, but I did notice a TV film camera around the FL regional which I believe was linked to Discovery (thought I saw one of the guys wearing a Discovery hat). But, as far as I know, we haven't received a e-mail from Discovery.

.. hehe.. YEP!... althought some americans can probally still get the canadian one... . also . . dont forget their website!! AHAHA!! they archive EVERY segment they do!! HAHA!!!! .. cuz Daily Planet On Discovery Channel is the BEST SHOW EVER! !!

.. google their site. . i forget exactly where on their site they show the archived vides.. but their there.. ive went on there to find old segments b4.. .just rember the DATE..

But it appears that yes, they now have links to videos numerous segments, dating back several years, here (http://www.exn.ca/dailyplanet/archivelist.asp). E-mail them (dailyplanet@discovery.ca) to get permission to use it for your team's promotions.

Dang, this is pretty exciting. I love when FIRST is on TV. Gives me a reason to actually be sitting there for hours apon hours.
