S.O.A.P. (Team 108's SigmaC@T Opponent Analysis Program) is taking on the challenge of giving out CD's of all matches during nationals. There will be a registration table, and all teams registering will be required to answer a really small survey about your team. Only teams that register at the S.O.A.P. table during practice day will get CD's. If you do not register during practice day or before lunch of the following day, you are not garunteed a copy for your team.

From this point on I will post details about the CD's and other available services from S.O.A.P. as they are prepared for competition. Please pass the news on to other teams who may not be active users of ChiefDelphi. I hope you guys are ready, Nationals is looking to be one exciting competition.

As of right now the survey isn't available online. However if it is made available before competition, as stated before I'll update. To be honest, registering before competition isn't such a bad idea either, we'll look into making that available as well.

I am very proud to be a part of a team who is always ready to take on challenges. I knew Silence would make the right choice. He has been stressed about it lately, trying to figure out the best way to help teams out there at nationals. If you get a chance, stop by and say hi to the soap guys who are always there to overcome these challenges and to make us one proud team.

It's great that you guys are doing this for Nationals. We really appreciated your work at the FL regional (in fact I have the CD's in my strategy binder at all times :D ). I'm gonna go sign up as soon as I can on that Thursday.

Quick update folks,

While we still are not sure where our table will be located, we will be offering updating scouting reports that we can print out for you from our soap table. Ranking will be available live from our website www.soap108.com. Currently we are under renovation however everything will be ready by competition.

Ps. We will require teams to approach the S.O.A.P. table in order to register for CD's, once there you will also have to input brief information about your team such as your Team Nickname, Rookie Year, Website, home country and state. Thanks for all the support you've offered this year, wish us luck as we're wishing you all luck in this year's national competition.

Are these matches going to be from other regionals or from Nationals? When are you going to be handing them out?

Something tells me I'll be registering 818 no matter what, but I'm curious. :)

These matches are from all four fields of Nationals. We're still working on where we will be set up, but more than likely youll be able to pick them at the end of each day. Teams will have to mark down whether or not they need their copies by the end of that day, this will help us out with priorities in case we have problems finishing.

Oooooo.. Scouting reports? What kind of reports?

We will have one static scouting report that covers basic robot questions (how many tetra's can a robot lift and so forth), then a second updating scouting report that will report the averages of different driver habits. For example you will know that 40% of the time Team A immeadiately drives to the other side of the field directly after autonomous.

Ps. If you have any input on questions you would like to be on these scouting reports, please feel free to post them, we may have time to incorporate them in order to make our scouting of more use to you all. We're running low on manpower and technology so I apologize in advance if you have an awesome question for us but we for sake of time cannot incorporate it. Thanks for the input!
