I'd be willing to be that anyone who cares about this sort of stuff already knows about this, but just in case....

Apple this morning announced that Tiger (OS X 10.4) will be released on April 29th! :D

As a participant in the Beta program, I can say that if you aren't thinking about upgrading, you should upgrade anyway. It truly is a stellar new OS. I would never consider downgrade to Panther, because it would be just that: a downgrade.

If you aren't, Amazon has a $35-off mail-in rebate to bring it down to $95.

I can't wait till Tiger. It's got a lot of real hot features that I have always wanted to have, or thought that would be really cool to have. Mac OS X kills anything that Windows could ever dream of.

I switched. :]

Yes any machine after this date with have Tiger pre-installed. If you buy a mac today, you have to pay $10 for tiger.

Please stop making us Windows users jealous. :D
One of these days, I will get a Mac.

It's been too long waiting for longhorn.
One of these days...

Minimac, yeah, that's what I want.

Personally, I'm gonna go save up some money for a iBook or a Powerbook that I can use for college (especially when it comes with that dictionary program that it has)

This is probably one of the best OSes I have seen in a long time
