ok i see that there is an invite only fantasy first so i want to make the first non-invite fantasy first. there will be only 10 spots available and i will be one of them so that means only 9 more people. if you got an invite to the horrible horrible invite league (i am just kidding about the horrible horrible part :] ) then you can join. just remember the first nine people will be on it.

Just to let you know, it wasn't an invitation only league at all. You had to join up ahead of time, just as you are suggesting now for your version here. If you check out the first posts from the Championship FF thread, everyone was open to signing up. Please don't be angry if you didn't notice this in time to join on because you were most certainly allowed to sign up. Please don't think that people were being elitists when they weren't because I would have to say that most everyone on Chief Delphi is very friendly. :)

Just for reference, there's both an invitation-only league (which I'm in) and the open-to-everyone league (which I'm also in).

Then again, this league has interesting ramifications as well, as it's got the small size of an invitational league. Therefore, scores will be high.

ok it is done. we have every one. start getting you draft list ready. the draft is on monday starting at 5 pm. this is a small league so the draft will be quick. we will try to get all 3 rounds picked if possible all on monday night.

and yes we will be using the same rules as cory.

Sorry but as far as i know we are only taking 10, but wait to see what the big man running the show (Steve) says. maybe he will let you in since we are going to start monday with the selections, he might even bump the placement up to 15 or 20, if he does i'll make sure your the first on the list.

And to our big boss.. lol i love saying that to people, anyways Steve if you decide to let more people in i can redo the order of the 3rd round, won't take me long, cause i'll use my brothers randomize program that he has.

i see round 3 unfair, round 3 is always a random selection so anyone gets a chance to be first, just my point.

i did it like that because i wanted it to be like an actual draft. in football baseball basketball any sport thats how the draft goes...but i will change it if the rest of the players find it unfair.....so basically if 7 out of the 11 say unfair..the 3rd round gets randomized.

I say randomize it too. I believe that most professional sport drafts have several more rounds than the three that we have and they may have an even number of rounds too. If that is the case, reversing it for every round is more fair. For three rounds, it gives the people with an early first round pick an advantage. With more teams and more rounds (like in a professional sport draft) the unfair advantage becomes much less. And if there are an even number of rounds it is fair.

Why didn't we just do 4 rounds with round 3 the same as round 1 and round 4 the same as round 2? Everyone would have more teams that way too
