Tired of that booring old generic Windows loading screen?

BootSkins lets you change the generic Windows loading screen to something better.
I made two FIRST themed BootSkins:
The FIRST edition of Windows XP:

It would be so cool to see every computer at Nationals using one of these windows loading screens.

Also I had to use the old logo because I can't find a pic of the new one with a black background :( . If you could send me one that would be great.( I can't just fill it in because there's no line between the white circle and the white background)

Watch Out! I have used bootskins before and Windowblinds, both are software to mod the appearance of your PC. These pieces of software can and will modify the kernel of Windows and very easily disrupt your software environment and possibly permanently damage your PC.

Why can't y'all just be like normal people and just change the background and stuff...why must you change the login screen? Just use linux if you're gonna do that. ;)

Because my background was at the optimal coolness level with the perfect image so I can't change it and must search for something else to change. I found this app and decided, after looking through about 500 other bootskins, to make a FIRST one. And It's not the login screen, it's the loading windows xp screen. I'm glad you like them. Also, I would install linux( I currently have the Red Hat iso files on 4 cds) but I only have 2.6 GB free space and that is dissapearing quickly.

You can't just change the background, you have to change everything...

Now the next step is to change the name of the operating system, so it apears to be "Windows - F.I.R.S.T. Edition" :p

And change the start button so it says "FIRST", and change all of the icons so they have the FIRST symbol on them, instead of the arrow to indicate it's a link.
And we really should make a F.I.R.S.T. linux, and cut out everything from linux except FIRST stuff, I'll do that with anyone that would want to do that with me.:)

there is actually a very easy way to change the windows start button text and picture. I changed it to begin( yup, very original ) and changed the pic to a small 16x16 sprite that I made.

I love these bootscreens they work fine for me and one of my friends just to let you know that they arnt as bad as everybody says
