Here's a neat little thing I just found out:

If you go to Google News (http://news.google.com) and click the "Customize this page" button, you can add an entire section of news stories devoted to, say, FIRST robotics, for example.

Today, there are stories about teams 1517 and 1641, and there have been many others in the past couple of weeks leading up to the championship. Apparently, these local newspapers just can't resist the Cinderella story of a rookie team qualifying for nationals, and who can blame them - this stuff is great. I still haven't seen any real in-depth reporting on there, but I'd bet we'll see more of that type of thing after the Championship.

I must make a note to see this. Might there be an option to have it email you the articles daily?

Speaking of Google, during the championships they mentioned things like, making decisions for humans like.."what youre going to do today", and stuff like that. We type in a question, and the Google AI would answer us accurately. As cool as it seems that theyre doing this, doesn't that just make people nowadays not aware of what they can do, and that they need a machine to tell them what their options are? I just think its a bit fishy on the 'human' part...
