So this past weekend was prolly one of the happiest and funnest weekends ive had in a long time. It was such a happy enviornment, the people were great, and best of all..school was out of focus..for everyone lol
How is everyones day at school been from coming back from a great weekend? I had Fashion (sewing class) first thing in the morning...and my teacher was asking how we did etc and very happy talking to me..then 10 minutes later she saw me doing nothing and she pulled me out of class to say to me why i didnt have my fabric for the big project yet (i gues she told me this a week ago from today to get it..whoops haha)...so of course i stated, "Well this whole weekend i was out of town for robotics..i had no time like what so ever" haha of course she didnt buy i...t so now im in a bit of trouble but not to bad lol so the rest of that class i cought up on my sleep. :yikes:

Hmm...I don't have school until Monday. Though AP exams start on Monday...so either way I'm getting burned. ;)
I had school yesterday, and it was really long and I didn't feel so good so I choose not to go today. with less then 6 weeks of school left its so hard to go everyday.

My last class is next tuesday. Last final isn't until the 12th, however.

It's finals week for MTU ... I take my one final on Thursday morning (7:45 am - how cruel) and leave Friday afternoon. Our last official day of classes was last Friday, but I was done with most of mine Tuesday of last week.
Starting the semester early does have its advantages. :D

Back to school, where less is happening per minute than at a FIRST competition.
However. I did have a little homework to do the Sunday I came back, and there was a chemistry test today, and there's a project to do in U.S. History and there are more drawings and a quiz to do in CAD II, AND a new unit started in Space/Earth Science. So, putting it that way, there's much to do.
Back to school, where less is happening per minute than at a FIRST competition.
That's the worst part...I think I've fallen asleep in two classes so far. Not to mention the fact that AP tests are coming up, and I am horribly underprepared.

Yeah I fell asleep several times in my last 2 classes of the day on monday. Even though I was trying my hardest to stay awake.
Curse you jet lag! lol
And I have a research paper outline that was due... today that I haven't really started yet. I started it on monday but I fell asleep doing it. So my teacher said I could take an extra few days. I just don't want to do it though lol

i came back to school with very little homework done. (i tried to work on the 8hr bus ride to Atlanta and back...) i'm taking a late grade on a project that was due friday (i'm taking a break from it right now), and i have to make up 3 tests and a quiz. (its amazing how much you can miss in just three days of being absent). one of those tests is absolutely essential.. my teacher told me that if i didnt come in before 8am tomorrow morning and make it up, i'd FAIL his class for the semester. :ahh: not a great welcome back to Florida... my teachers arent that sympathetic at all. :( i figured out i was behind in all of my classes, and i'm sort of a slacker by nature but now more than ever i've totally lost all motiviation to do my work. here i was thinking that after robotics was over it would be easier to focus on my schoolwork (and maybe pass my AP exams which are coming up in about 15 days...) but apparently not. i've got a little over a month of school left (i get out the 24th of May)... hopefully in that time i'll be able to find some inspiration to stop procrastinating and maybe i can pull up my grades by then... ^^;

We don't get out until the 22nd of June. What a waste of summer.
Anyways, I'm trying desperately to catch up/study for the AP tests.

Ahh, AP tests, why did I have to click this thread and remind myself?!?! Plus there's that Calculus final that I missed for the Championships, kinda have to make that up too. But after that, pure senioritis until June 17.

I'm with you, while everyone else was in Atl I was stuck at school wishing and daydreaming about being there. But this week I will only be in school for 3 days. I love Field trips. Two in one week. One for some tech fair and the other is to take my college placement test. Fun Fun Fun

ya... these past 3 days of school have been the most i have slept in a 3 day period inside of school... absolutley horrible... UGH!!! just from being sleep deprived and still having a bitter taste in my mouth from a dissapointing championships, its hard to look at allthe good times i had outside of the competition after all the time and effort i put into the comp itself =/... oh well... school still goes on and only 22 more days for us seniors... so i cant complain to much...

I'm in school now:ahh: Although the past few days of school have been awful, just trying to get back into the swing of things is hard. It's bad enough i don't get to see everyone like i did at champs, but now i have to go to class?!?! What mayhem is this? Between school, work, and lacrosse, end of robotics, i don't sleep much. Can't WAIT for BTB and BC, and RAGE is trying to go to IRI. Whatever works...

Ya i left school with a bunch of hw and i didnt do any during the 6 days i was gone. 1 project i had i still havent turned in yet and i have been in school for 4 days now! The teacher was getting on me on how it was due and i didnt have it turned in, owell im turning it in still. The teachers never make a deal about school work when you are gone on a basketball or football trip.
