Or if I'm walking by houses and sometimes their address is a team number , I get happy! ^^;;

When I was on vacation I saw a house number that was 1511!

My trip meter on my car once read 1885. What made this more spectacular was that I only read the bugger every couple trips.

Today at church (Lutheran) the number under the 10th Day After Pentacost were 441, 8, 217, and 368 or 468. I can't remember. But anyways, there was Thunderchickens and Paly Robotics. I just thought that was kind of cool. I think there might be a 441.

On a side note: I don't know what those numbers mean. If anyone can explain please PM me. Today was only the 4th time I've been to a Lutheran church.

Well on the way back from Gen Con team 1501 went through Kokomo to drop off the 45 bot and some of there stuff with a couple 45 students. After doing that we stopped at the Arby's there and when leaving the arby's we noticed one of the mailboxes near by said "1501"

Jeesh to see something like that in 45's own town....

When we were going to the Jersey Shore, we passed many mile markers. I had a rather enjoyable yelling out team names that corresponded with the numbers on the way down. It took until we got to mile 102 that my mom actually figured out what I was doing lol.

My favorite time of the day is 6:12 am/pm, and it is pretty funny reading some books and seeing the page is 612. Also on my Ipod listening to the song "6 of 12" is always nice.

I've yet to start noticing 1293 in random places (but I'm already addicted...so that shall soon follow) but it has become a habit to put 1293 as my guess whenever I don't know the answer to a question. I did it on a few math tests (don't usually have a problem...but I didn't need the extra credit so I just put 1293 as my answer) and on a history test when I wasn't sure of a number.

Our team went to Denny's for dinner one night. We were looking at the menu when we realized that they had 4 or 5 items on the menu that were priced at "5.99". We had a good kick out of makign the waitress realize that what we ordered corresponded with the number on all of our t-shirts! :-D

Oh yea, one more thing with "599" in it.

Today on the way to a team meeting I bought a Monster, some mints and Gas.

I emptied my wallet (and coin tray in my car) and put all the extra into the gas.

The total for the Monster and mints was $2.94 and the amount left for Gas was $3.30 (another southbay team).

That was weird....

Doing research on Robert Boyle (one of the gas laws: volume is inversely proportional to pressure), I found this:

An account of the work he did with this instrument was published in 1660 under the title New Experiments Physico-Mechanical. Among the critics of the views put forward in this book was a Jesuit, Franciscus Linus (1595–1675), and it was while answering his objections that Boyle enunciated the law that the volume of a gas varies inversely as the pressure, which among English-speaking peoples is usually called after his name, though on the continent of Europe it is attributed to Edme Mariotte, who did not publish it till 1676.

I put in the rather long quote for context. If you want to read about Robert Boyle (trust me, it's not very interesting), you can find it here (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_Boyle).

I get off the bus after school at about 4:15ish on days when I'm not staying after for robotics... And for some reason, I always look to see what time it is *for the first time that afternoon* at 4:22.

Once, when the electricity had gone out when I was not at home, so it was the middle of the evening when I went upstairs to the alarm clock that had lost power exactly 4 hours and 22 minutes previous.

We get to see 108 printed in huge letters at almost every stadium that we go to , for 108 is most likely always the title for Level 1, Section 8. At the Florida Regional, we always sit there...it's like our permanent spot. When we were in Las Vegas a few weeks ago, the bus that ran along the street across from our hotel was Route 108, and even more recently, on our flight back from Atlanta, the flight after us was flight 108, so it was displayed largely at baggage claim. Besides all of that, a lot of us cheer a little bit on the inside when its 1:08am.

We have a neat row of shops along South Congress here in Austin that have brought back the lost art of window dressing - turning their window displays into clever artistic statements. There is a shop almost at the bottom of the hill, at the end of row that is called Pink with 3 large pink bubbles as part of the lit sign.

I came back from Atlanta on Sunday, thinking about how cool Pink had been the whole weekend - how well the team conducted themselves on and off the field and I remembered their competition at UCF earlier in the season as well. On Monday morning as I passed by the Pink shop, they still had the sign lit up with the pink bubbles glowing and I couldn't help but smile and think Pink.

It isn't a number but it's close.

The following is a MAJOR SPOILER FOR THE MOVIE HOT FUZZ. It involves the team # 384 (my old team.) Highlight the text to read it.

In the cult scene with the NWA, the chief inspector comes up to Angel to tell him about the cult, and you can see clearly on his collar his number. It's 384. Should be noted that Angel's is 777.

I was really bored, had a lot of spare time, and there were some tootsie roll pops around. So, remembering those commercials from a couple years back, I set off to find out how many licks it takes to get to the tootsie roll center of a tootsie roll pop...an hour or so later, I announced this to everyone in ther room, and most of them probably thought I was crazy.

I have a few. (probably because I look so hard)
Well for one we tend to state that it is 9:10. Which is also the time we normally leave during build season.

My locker number at school is 330

and sometime over the summer in 07 we were returning bottles and as a joke I hit print recepit at $9.10 then continued to put my bottles in and ran out when it was at $3.30.

And for the RPGer's out there. I was playing Final Fantasy III and at one point got 111 dmg and killed the enemy, got 910 dmg and killed the enemy, and got 1114 dmg and killed the enemy. (at various parts of the game of course)

Also, recently in my math class, Danvillans(1458) kept showing up as the answer for some wierd reason, made me pinch myself to make sure I wasn't going crazy.

Oh, and in a skit, I purposely inserted PALY(8), Raider Robotix(25), and MVRT(115) as the numbers for a math problem in the script.(8x + 25 = 115) Still don't know what I was thinking at that point.

Ought to consider military time as a format.
However if a team's last two digits are above 59, you have a problem.

UNLESS, you use modulo math.

Darn, hexadecimal won't work. . . or should it ?

I flew home from Atlanta, bought a slice of pizza. I nearly flipped out and frightened the cashier when the total came to $2.17.

I have seen $2.17, $2.45, $2.47, $2.53, $2.54, $2.56 and once $3.30(!) as gas prices.

My new college ID number includes 1072 (Harker Robotics).

I take Latin, and our passages have line numbers. I have noted Teams 1, 4, 8, 11, 16, 20, 25, 33, 45, 47, 48, 60, 67, 69, 71, 75, 79, 85, 100, 111, 114, 115, 116, 121, 141, 148, 245, 247, 253, 254, 256, 330, 341, 365, 399, 499, 538, 604, 668 and 692. There are over 2000 lines in the Aeneid, but each book (chapter) restarts its line count.

Every time I look at my (24-hour) clock and it says 0:01, 0:04, 0:08, 0:11, 0:16, 0:20, 0:25, 0:33, 1:00, 1:11, 1:14, 1:15, 1:16, 1:21, 1:41, 2:45, 2:47, 2:53, 2:54, 2:56, 3:30, 3:41, 6:04, 7:01, 7:16, 8:41, 8:42, 8:46, 8:52, 9:10, 10:24, 11:14, 15:01, 15:03, 15:19, 17:17, 17:26 or 19:02, I get a little distracted. I have probably missed a few.

A couple of days later, I checked one of my email folders, and there were exactly 766 (!) emails in it.

On Wednesday, I took the AB Calculus exam. Found 980 in one of the numbers...

Today, I was at our school's badminton meet (I play) and one of the scores was 15:03. Another score was 15:01.

There are currently KRUNCH days until IRI.

Hm. I'm insane, aren't I? :o

Finally, someone who thinks like me. I see a number, and I see a team. Last year before IRI, I was buying a book, and they had some weird discount %. The book originally would cost WITH shipping $15.19 and with the discount, it was $11.14. Who knew we would play each other at IRI.

If I listed out all the numbers I saw with team names. I would talk your ear off:p

There's always 24-hour time! 16:25 would be 4:25pm.

I wish a clock would read 11:89...I'll have to build a clock that uses the 90-minute hour.

I always check my receipts for team numbers. I see 67 quite a bit.

And finally, it always makes my day to see gas prices at 1.189 (though seeing gas prices that low nowadays is a sure sign of the apocalypse!)

Me and one of my teammates were in history class and I looked at my phone to check the time and it was 1:34. I gave the teammate my phone and said look at the time! He grabbed the phone, it slipped on his desk and fell on the floor really loudly. The teacher gave us a nasty look and went back to talking. lol.

Also, in chemistry class we were graphing and for the x-axis, our teacher used the numbers 1, 3, and 4. I was like Go Robotics! Everyone just stared at me like I was crazy. Some people just dont get it. *sigh*

When I was signing the paperwork for my 2009 Pontiac Vibe--a General Motors product--I noticed that the VIN starts 5Y2SP67099Z....

Now, that could mean that it's a four-door vehicle with front, side, and side curtain airbags (http://www.goodwrench.com/gmgoodwrenchjsp/gmspo/Vin/2009+VIN+Card.pdf)...but I think we know what GM was going for when they assigned the digits. ;)

You should see when my one of my friends and I play Smash. It's just calling out team numbers left and right. Usually, we won't hit someone if they get 177%, but they have to kill themselves after they get 2.

Ok. That last part was a lie.

pretty much all of our school books have page 279 highlighted [only the number] in light blue. I've taken to highligting some other ones as well. most recently i underlined the word cat 7 times on page 451 of a science book, but it never said cat attack or anything along those lines =(

When:
-Making your first D&D character (at least in a few years) you are deciding on an age and you bounce the idea off your friend about having a 1189 year old gnome. I ended up deciding that that might be a bit much so I ended up making him 67 years old instead :D (disclaimer: the reference was to the team not their name. Sorry, but I realized afterwords that it might be taken in other ways.)
-When you notice when playing a game that your team had 217 points ^_-

I was sorting through credit card receipts and came across one with a total of $27.53. I know receipts are pretty normal, but this was the first time I had seen my own team number anywhere unordinary, so I was excited!
